Bella's is managed by Karen Wildman, a cake maker located near Bingley, West Yorkshire. Karen's passion for baking began at the age of four, alongside her Grandma and Mother. After a 20-year teaching career, she decided to transform her passion into a profession, launching her business 5 years ago. Baking has always been a source of stress relief and family enjoyment for Karen, making the transition to a cake-making career a natural choice.

In 2022, Karen crafted her first wedding cake and felt incredibly fortunate to be part of such a special occasion, a sentiment she continues to experience with every couple she collaborates with.

When working with wedding couples, Karen always schedules a consultation to fully understand the couple, listening to their plans for the day and incorporating their personalities and desires for their special occasion. She excels at adding intricate details to wedding cakes and prides herself on guiding couples with expert advice and support. Karen believes that being part of a client's wedding is a truly special experience. Most of Bella's business comes from referrals, which truly speaks for itself, as they say 'proof is in the pudding!'.

Karen expressed, "Seeing the design evolve from a draft to a completed cake, perfectly set up, is everything. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing a couples' vision come to life."

Karen takes pride in offering her signature modern romantic style with a twist. Her cakes are known for being typically white and three-tiered, with a unique element added to truly reflect the couple's special day.

Current favorite flavours include salted caramel and strawberry & champagne, but she is always willing to accommodate specific preferences and tastes to suit your wedding. Karen manages all arrangements directly with your venue, allowing you to relax knowing she has handled delivery, allergen/prep advice, and coordination with your chosen wedding venue.

Bella's has limited availability for the end of 2025, with their 2026/2027 calendar now open, though some key dates are already booked. If you wish to collaborate with Karen for your wedding cake, a booking fee will be taken as a deposit, followed by a payment plan, which can aid with budgeting. For weddings on key dates, she recommends inquiring and booking early to avoid disappointment.
